Pattern license

You may

• Knit or crochet the pattern as many times as you like.
• Sell the finished items you make, online or in person, as an individual maker or small business. A credit — "pattern by Zach Sumano" — is appreciated but not required.
• Print the PDF for your own use and mark it up however you want.
• Teach from it in a class where every participant has bought their own copy.

You may not

• Share, email, upload, resell or give away the pattern file.
• Reproduce the text, charts, photographs or schematics anywhere.
• Publish the pattern in another language or format without written permission.
• Use the pattern for mass or factory production.

Watermarking

Every PDF carries the buyer's email in the footer. If a file turns up somewhere it shouldn't, that's how I know where it came from. Access tied to a leaked file is revoked.
