Questions
FAQ
The things people email me most. If yours isn't here, ask.
- What do I actually get when I buy a pattern?
- A PDF, delivered by email and available in your library on this site. It includes written instructions, a schematic for every size, gauge and yarn notes, and a chart where charts help.
- Is the PDF watermarked?
- Yes — with your email, quietly, in the footer. It's not there to punish you; it's there so shared copies are traceable. Print it, annotate it, spill tea on it.
- Can I sell what I make?
- Yes. Sell finished objects made from my patterns freely, credit appreciated. You can't resell, share or reproduce the pattern file itself.
- What if I find a mistake?
- Email me. I publish errata on the pattern page and push a corrected PDF; you re-download the new version for free, forever.
- Do you offer refunds?
- Digital patterns are non-refundable once downloaded, because I can't un-send a file. If the pattern is broken or you bought the wrong one by mistake, email me — I'd rather fix it than keep your money.
- How many times can I download?
- Five downloads per purchase by default, which is plenty for most people. Hit the limit and email me; I'll reset it, no questions.
- Is there a community?
- There's a Discord for people who've bought a pattern. Your invite arrives with your purchase and is single-use.
- What sizes do you grade to?
- The full range, every time. If a stitch pattern can't survive the largest size, I redesign it rather than quietly stopping at an XL.
